ICE AGE MUSIC GROUP is proud to present DE'HITMEN.  Recently signed to Ice Age Records, De'Hitmen are made up of Sun of Man from Washington, DC and Sankara Dra Don from Chi-town.  Aiming to provide the flavor that many claim is missing in mainstream hip-hop, writers and artists Sankara Dra Don and Sun of Man collaborated in January 2008 to give birth to Dehitmen . The duo who have asserted, “we are not just rappers, we are not studio gangstaz, we are two individuals with a passion to write, that decided to go into the studio and lay down something to remind people what good music used to sound like,” have found themselves with a dense following. From their bi-weekly shows on Blog Talk Radio; which was started in March of this year, along with streaming with well over five hundred (500) radio shows, to networking with Sojournals, Imeem, Black Planet, , Writers Unified,Black Poetry cafe, Myspace and Cult Vault, Dehitmen has become a lyrical force to reckon with. Dehitmen whose writing matured through the poetry circle and the throes of life, possess a unique flow and a well above average penmanship that is bound to make them a movement. More so, one that is aimed at getting into the communities and dealing with the youths as opposed to simply parading in videos. Sankara Dra Don and Sun of Man have endured some of the same ills our youths currently face, but plan to use said experiences as propellers to write hits that would transform mentalities, bounce of club walls and move feet.

Of course, we expect BIG things for this dynamic duo!  De'Hitmen are currently in the studio working on their Ice Age debut!
