2005's Independent Hip Hop Label of the Year continues its impressive rise throughout the industry.  Founded in 1996 by Owner/CEO Vincent Irvin, Ice Age Records began with a simple concept of finding unsigned talent and getting them a major deal within a year.  We do this by producing, pressing and distributing artists throughout our network.  Once we have created the CD, we use our extensive connections to gain radio airplay in the southeast and track the spins using an independent tracking agency.  We document all live shows, appearances, record sales and industry functions.  Once we've created a nice portfolio, we submit your accomplishments to several decision makers within major record labels that we are associated with.  The likelihood of our artists getting signed is extremely high, at that point, because they have already proven that they can sale, perform, have a fan base and go toe-to-toe with major artists on the radio.
